Abby is a Filipina American actor, educator, and storyteller, from Portland, Oregon.
Abby earned her B.A. Degree in Liberal Studies with double-minors in Education and Ethnic Studies from Oregon State University in 2019. She then earned her M.Ed from Portland State University in 2022. She currently teaches social studies in the Portland Public Schools District.

With over eight years of experience in youth advocacy work, community organizing, and cultural engagement, Abby’s dedication to serving and uplifting the underrepresented voices of her community have been recognized at local, state, and national levels.
CREATIVE PASSIONS
Abby is first and foremost a storyteller. She uses writing as a means of self-reflection, as well as an outlet for sharing the stories her community and life’s journeys with the world. Her writings on mental health and the Filipino diaspora experience has gained international attention. Abby’s other creative work has included the direction and production of short films, podcasts, and documentaries. She has also been an active performer onstage, on screen, and voiceover, with over a decade of experience.
